 2008/09 champions Fairwater Cons' Fairwater Cons won the title on the last game of the season with a 3-2 win at Mackintosh Sports. Trecenydd were ready to pounce on any slip up and if Brian Rees had not won the final frame of the match against Graeme Prance the title would have gone to the valleys for the second year in a row. It was the second season in a row that the title had gone to the last frame of the season and was a fitting end to an exciting 4-way title race. |
