Penarth British Legion moved to the top of the Tuesday League, three points clear, as they beat Savoy 4-1 and bottom of the table Mackintosh hammered champions Fairwater by the same score. Neil Tomkins inflicted a rare defeat on Mark Bennett to keep the Legion in the game after they were 1-0 down, whilst at the Mack, Fairwater were very close to a 5-0 whitewash and were saved by a missed pink over the hole in the last frame. County lost in a decider to Penarth Road to remain 4th.
