Penarth Road B win the title in exciting play-off match

Penarth Road B won their 4th Premier League title in 6 years last week with a tense play-off win over County Cons, who missed out on their first CDSL title by the narrowest of margins. The teams had to play-off as they had finished level on points, frames and head to head during the regular season.

Penarth Road took a first frame lead with a win by Ed Topham over James Llewellyn but County were one frame away from the title after an impressive win by Darran Jones over Kishan Hirani and a black ball win by Tom Cross over Twm Jones. However Steve Flanagan maintained his superb record this season by taking the 4th frame over Scott Miners and in the final frame of the entire season Terry Garland beat Kevin Brown to clinch the title.
