Senghenydd march on

Another victory for Senghenydd against Taff’s Well sees them move up to joint third in the table with Park Club. Their sixth win of the season keeps up their impressive start, and means their only defeats so far have been against the top two. Canton Libs A took advantage of County’s bye week to extend their lead, with Kishan Hirani once again the star man with a 58 break in his frame. Cathays Cons got back to winning ways at the expense of Rumney British Legion, while Savoy won a close match against Trecenydd, after a spirited performance by the youngsters. At the halfway point of the first round of fixtures, the race to get in the top half is hotting up after the Mack’s win against Park ensures there’s only six points between sixth and ninth place.
