CARDIFF & DISTRICT SNOOKER ASSOCIATION

The top 3 teams from last season all won to rise to the top of the table this week. Champions Taff’s Well B continued their excellent start to the season by beating Canton Libs Z 4-1, whilst last year’s runners-up Canton Libs A got their season back on track with a 5-0 win at Rumney. Savoy are second after beating Taff’s Well A 3-2, although the game was notable for a rare defeat for last season’s outstanding performer Sam Thomas, losing to Kevin Jones.

There was a second win of the season for Cuesaders, who look like they’ll be challenging for the title this year, and there were 3-2 victories for Park Cons and South Wales Snooker against Canton Libs B and new boys Cardiff Cuesports respectively.
