This week sees the first group matches of the Malcolm Keenor Trophy and Plate.

Please can team captains ensure that when they submit the result, they include the points difference between the two teams. This will be used to determine position in the group if teams are level on points.

The guidance for the competition states that in the first 4 frames ‘the black ball must be potted’ and we wanted to clarify this. If there is a foul on the black this is the equivalent of it being potted and therefore it is the end of the frame, unless the foul results in a re-spotted black.
