Canton Libs Z produced the performance of the week to win 3-2 and inflict only the second defeat of the season on Mackintosh, which allowed their title rivals to close the gap at the top of the table. Canton Libs A took maximum advantage and are now only a point behind the leaders after a 5-0 whitewash over South Wales Snooker, whilst Taff’s Well B also made gains after a 4-1 win at home to Canton Libs B.

Savoy A continued their good recent form with a 4-1 win at Park Club to consolidate fourth place, but Senghenydd continue to stay on their heels after a very good 3-2 victory at Cuesaders.

Taff’s Well A have moved up the table to 10th place after a 4-1 win at Rumney British Legion, who are struggling to find a victory after an impressive start to the season, whilst Cathays Cons are 9th after an excellent 5-0 win at Savoy B.
