Savoy A continue to close the gap on Mackintosh, Taff’s Well B and Canton Libs A, and with visits to all three still to come they are now back in the running for the title.

The Barry side confirmed their status as the form team in the league with an outstanding 5-0 win over fifth place Senghenydd, and next week’s visit to leaders Mackintosh now looks like a massive encounter.

The Roath side are back on top after a 4-1 win over Taff’s Well A, and are level with Taff’s Well B after they matched that performance with a victory at Cuesaders, with wins for Tom Cross and Huw Carpenter moving them up the individual rankings.

Both sides moved above Canton Libs A after a postponement was agreed for their match with Park Club, and will now need to be replayed by March 9th.

Another form side is Cathays Cons who move into sixth place thanks to a 3-2 win over Canton Libs Z, and are closely followed by Canton Libs B after their 3-2 defeat of Rumney British Legion, whilst Savoy B won a close match 3-2 at South Wales Snooker.
