Canton Libs A have taken a big step to regaining the Premier League title after a 5-0 derby win over Canton Libs Z moved them five points clear at the top of the table with only six games to go. This was due to their title rivals Taff’s Well B and Mackintosh only managing 3-2 victories over Park Club and Cathays Cons respectively.

Savoy A continued their excellent form with a 4-1 at home to Taff’s Well A, whilst Senghenydd secured a 3-2 away win at Canton Libs B. Cuesaders recorded a 5-0 whitewash over Savoy B, and Rumney British Legion have ended their winless streak with a 4-1 win at South Wales Snooker.
