The Mackintosh are ensuring that the title remains a 3-horse race after a 5-0 win over South Wales Snooker, and in doing so close the gap with Taff’s Well B and Canton Libs A.

The two title challengers overcame difficult away ties to win 3-2 to set up a huge next round of matches that may well contribute significantly to the destiny of the Premier League. The top 4 all play each other as Canton Libs A face Savoy A, whilst Taff’s Well B host the Mackintosh.

The remaining matches this week were all close affairs that finished 3-2, with wins for Cathays Cons against Cuesaders, Savoy B at Canton Libs Z, Savoy A at home to Canton Libs B and Park Club at Rumney British Legion.

The league takes a break for a week to complete the group stages of the Plate, before those massive clashes on April 20th.
