Canton Libs A took a huge step towards the Premier League title this week after a 3-2 victory over Savoy A, which extended their lead at the top of the table to 4 points after Taff’s Well B were defeated by the same scoreline at home to Mackintosh. With only two matches remaining, two victories should be enough to secure the title, whilst the runner-up spot will go all the way with Mackintosh only one point behind Taff’s Well B.

There were close 3-2 victories for Senghenydd away to Savoy B and for Canton Libs B over Cathays Cons. Canton Libs Z won 4-1 at Park Club and Rumney British Legion won 3-2 at Cuesaders, whilst there were again a number of 40+ breaks including Kishan Hirani’s 13th league break of the season.
