Cuesaders produced the performance of the week with a 3-2 win at reigning champions Canton Libs A to maintain their outstanding recent form. The Llandaff side’s victory was their sixth in a row and their eighth in nine games to consolidate fourth place and close the gap on the leaders to only three points.

Senghenydd are back on top of the Premier League after a 3-2 win against Canton Libs B mean they move above Savoy who had a bye week, whilst Taff’s Well B won a close match 3-2 against Mackintosh to move within one point of top spot, with a 62 break by Alan Hurley being the individual highlight of the night.

In a week of close matches Taff’s Well A won 3-2 at Park Club, whilst Rumney British Legion won at Mackies Lost Boys by the same scoreline, but the one of the results of the season in Division One came at Cathays Cons as the leaders lost 4-1 at home to Canton Libs Z, who now move within three points of their title rivals with a game in hand.
