The lead at the top of Premier League once again changed hands this week after Taff’s Well B registered an excellent 5-0 win away to Canton Libs Z to move them above Savoy and Senghenydd with only 8 games to go. Senghenydd suffered a damaging 4-1 defeat at Mackintosh, whilst Savoy maintained their outstanding form with a 4-1 win over Cathays Cons. However, Savoy have a game in hand on their title rivals which could prove pivotal, but the destiny of the Premier League title could become clearer next week when the Barry side travel to Taff’s Well B for a massive encounter.

It’s even tighter in Division One after that defeat for Cathays Cons gave Canton Libs B the opportunity to close the gap on their rivals, which they did with a convincing 4-1 win over Mackies Lost Boys to pull level at the top. Park Club got their second win of the season with a 3-2 win at Rumney British Legion, whilst champions Canton Libs A’s poor run of form continued with a 3-2 defeat at in-form Taff’s Well A.
