Kishan Hirani Earns Two Year Pro Card

Kishan Hirani has earned a tour card for the 2018/19 season as well as the 2019/20 season by winning his quarter of Q School event 3. Kishan beat former pros Michael Judge, Simon Bedford and Jamie Curtis-Barrett as well as top amateur Brandon Sargeant to gain his pro card. Kishan showed great form in the first two events winning 7 matches and making numerous frame winning breaks including two centuries, 124 being his highest. Kishan’s first match as a professional snooker player will be in the first week of July as he tries to qualify for the Riga Masters. In February Kishan will become the first Cardiffian to play in the Welsh Open in the modern era, which will be held in Cardiff’s Motorpoint. Kishan joins a long list of Cardiff and District Snooker League players to have professional status. Congratulations to Kishan and all the best next year (I’m sure a few league players will fancy the job getting a 50 start!)
