Mackintosh won the game of the week against Division One leaders Canton Libs B, edging a closely fought match 3-2 to remain one point behind Premier League leaders Savoy, who matched that result against Cuesaders. Both teams now have clear water between them and Taff’s Well B who have a game-in-hand on their title rivals. Trecenydd won the Caerphilly derby 4-1 at Senghenydd, who are now adrift at the bottom of the Premier League, eight points behind Cuesaders in sixth place.

Fairwater Cons must be regretting their poor run of form in November that saw them lose 3 consecutive matches, as they kept up their fine form with a 4-1 win over Taff’s Well A to edge closer to the teams above them, whilst Canton Libs Z beat Mackies Lost Boys, where a 47 break by Jason Veal was the individual highlight of the week.

Rumney British Legion produced the result of the week with a 3-2 win over a struggling Cathays Cons team who have now lost 3 of their last 4 games.
