Savoy bounced back from their shock defeat to Taff’s Well A to record an impressive 5-0 win over Division One leaders Canton Libs B. The outstanding trio of Mark Bennett, Ryan Rowlands and Sam Thomas set the foundations for the victory, with the latter registering a fine 71 break.

The champions have cut Mackintosh’s lead at the top to 3 points as Ronnie Allen’s side won 4-1 at home to Senghenydd, with Jason Hewitt maintaining his outstanding for to secure his 14th win from 15 league matches so far this season. With Savoy’s game-in-hand not coming until the last game of the season, their match at the end of this month is beginning to look like a colossal encounter.

Taff’s Well B stayed within touching distance of the top two with a 4-1 win over Trecenydd Snooker, with Dylan Emery showing why he’s one of the brightest talents in the country with a 58 break when a century looked likely. The CDSA would like to wish Dylan well when he participates in the European Championships in Israel.

Rumney British Legion maintained their excellent form with a 4-1 victory against Mackies Lost Boys to move up to fourth place in Division One, with Kyle Patterson winning again to move into the individual rankings list. Cathays Cons move above Fairwater Cons into fourth place in the Premier League after they won 4-1 at home to Taff’s Well A, whilst Cuesaders beat Canton Libs Z 3-2 to register their first win in five matches.
