Savoy are looking odds-on to defend their Premier League title after a 3-2 win at home to Canton Libs Z left them 3 point clear of chasing Mackintosh with a game-in-hand, who cut the lead slightly after a 4-1 victory against Mackies Lost Boys. However, games are now running out for Ronnie Allen’s side who now need other teams to do them a favour as the league season draws to a close.

Taff’s Well B got their pursuit of the runners-up spot with a 5-0 win over Cathays Cons and find themselves 5 points behind with a game-in-hand on the last day of the season.

The other matches this week saw Fairwater Cons win 4-1 against Rumney British Legion, Trecenydd beat Cuesaders 3-2 and Taff’s Well A edge a 3-2 win away to Senghenydd.
