Mackintosh have finished the season as Premier League runners-up after Taff’s Well B’s 4-1 win away at Cuesaders wasn’t enough to overcome Ronnie Allen’s side in second place. Needing an unlikely 5-0 win to get past Mackintosh, Tom Cross’s side started strongly and took a 4-0 lead, but Ryan Bowgen managed to win the last on the colours to leave Taff’s Well level on points in second place, but Mackintosh won one more game to take the runners-up spot.

Savoy completed their outstanding season in style with a 4-1 win at Taff’s Well A to finish on 109 points, with 21 wins from 24 matches. Congratulations to Colin Lane and his side for their superb achievement this season, and they will be looking to win the double when they take on Taff’s Well B in the final of the Malcolm Keenor Trophy in a couple of weeks.

Division One champions Canton Libs B also finish the season strongly with their 4-1 win against Senghenydd being their fourth consecutive victory. They will now replace their opponents in the Premier League next year, with Tony Palkowski’s side being relegated to Division One.

Fairwater Cons finish the season in fourth place in the Premier League and will be looking to continue their good form at the start of next season to move them back into contention for the title, whilst Cathays Cons ended their year with a 3-2 win at home to Canton Libs Z. Rumney British Legion beat Trecenydd Snooker 3-2 with Dylan Emery showing why he’ll continue to be a major force in the league next year with a 62 break.
