Mark Bennett’s win on the final day gave him the Tuesday League rankings title after Spence’s defeat to Kishan ended his hopes of a second successive title
Tuesday League secretary’s season review
Fairwater, so long nailed on favourites for the Tuesday League title, survived a late season wobble, and, credit to them, went to their rivals and won it the hard way. Kishan, Luke Pittman and Twm held their nerve, and took the title back to Fairwater after last year’s drop to second place.

Congratulations to Fairwater Cons who are the 2011 Tuesday League champions after beating Mackintosh 3-2 in last night’s title decider, including a crucial first frame win by Kishan Hirani over rankings leader Spencer Symmons from 45 down. Full update to follow

So it all comes down to one match, with Fairwater travelling to the Mackintosh on Tuesday where the winner will take the title after 26 weeks of battling out with Trecenydd and long-time leaders County. The Mackintosh are looking for their fourth title in seven seasons, Fairwater their second in three.
