The draw for the first round of the Malcolm Keenor Trophy took place before the Park Club v Taff’s Well B match and is as follows –

The matches will be random draw and two legs of five frames with the handicap applied in each frame. The first team to six frames wins, with a playoff frame taking place if the score is 5-5, with each captain choosing a player to play that frame (the player chosen must be part of the second leg line-up.)
The winners of each match will progress to the quarter-final of the Malcolm Keenor Trophy, with the losing teams entering the Plate.
