A refreshing part of this season has been the number of young players now playing in the league both in the Tuesday and Thursday leagues. In fact (thanks to John Dobson for pointing this out) five out of the top six players on the Welsh under 16s ranking list are Cardiff & District Snooker League players

2) McCauley Cole (Trecenydd)
3) Rhys Thomas (Trecenydd)
4) Ethan Chichester (Trecenydd)
6) Ryan Rowlands (Savoy)

Young Suraj Singh also from Cardiff is joint no. 6. it is quite possible we could have an all Cardiff Welsh under 16s international team this year, with 3 from Trecenydd.

In fact Trecenydd players are doing well across the age group ranking lists (see below). Well done to everyone, including those that I haven’t mentioned from the League who I know are doing well in other age group events.
