New boys Kiss Shot make impressive start #snooker #cardiff

In last night’s Division One action, Kiss Shot made their Cardiff League debut with a solid 4 – 1 home win over Canton Libs Z to top the league. Senghenydd started the league in equally good fashion beating arch rivals Taffs Well 4 – 1 to go joint top in the match of the round. Rumney BL got their revenge over Cathays Cons after losing to them in the KO Cup last week by winning 3 – 2 away from home. Wellington Boot narrowly squeezed past Canton Libs B 3 – 2 after the home side rotated some players after their KO Cup exit last week. Impressive performances from Keith Jenkins, Ethan and Patrick Chichester won the day for the Welly side. Finally the biggest shock of the night was seen at Wellington as the Trec Wanderers continued their fine start to the season by beating former Tuesday league team Wellington Rileys 3 – 2 after 3 black ball games. There were no 30 plus breaks reported this week.
