During a Malcolm Keenor Trophy match this week, a player missed the object ball twice when they could see it, leading them to be warned that they could lose the frame. The player thankfully duly hit the ball at the third attempt, but it lead to a discussion about what would happen if the frame had ended.
In case this was to happen, we thought it best to make a ruling to ensure fairness to both sides.
The player who wins the frame will be awarded the remaining points on the table to add to the frame score, e.g. 3 reds left would be 51 points, as it would be unfair for the frame to finish incomplete or lead to a 147 point win.
