Thanks to everyone who attended the CDSA AGM & Presentation Night, there was an excellent turn-out and a very good atmosphere as always. The committee would like to say a huge thank you to Mackintosh Sports’ captain Ronnie Allen whose company Rosetta Sports (www.rosettasports.org.uk) are the new sponsors of the league. We are very grateful to his support, which enable us to continue to strengthen the CDSA and leave a lasting legacy for the future.

The following rule change proposals were voted on during the night –

– Each team to have a match set of balls for their matches (rejected by 4 votes to 6)

– Scotch doubles format to be introduced for the Handicap Pairs (rejected 0 votes to 10)

– Home team to display order first and away side choose opponent (rejected 0 votes to 10)

The CDSA 2022-23 season starts on Thursday 15th September, with fixtures TBC.
