Congratulations to Taff’s Well captain Kevin Brown as he finished with a 16/18 league record to win the CDSA 2024-25 Player of the Year, ahead of Fairwater Cons’ Twm Sion Jones (14/17) and Caerphilly Cons’ Nural Khan (13/15). Brown’s consistency, matchplay and fluent potting were features of his season and his only two defeats were both on the black to deny him a perfect record. Other notable performances saw last season’s winner Jason Hewett (Fairwater Cons) finish with a 12/13 record and Ryan Bowgen (County Cons) end the league season with 9/10 wins.
