Runaway Thursday League leaders Canton Libs A had to fight all the way against the soon to be outgoing champions Taffs Well and walked away with a 3-2 win including a 60 break from Adam Jones. The New Park made slight inroads into their huge deficit beating Roath Labour 4-1 to close the gap by a point. Senghenydd beat Trec C 4-1 to remain a distant 3rd. SWS beat Cathays Cons 3-2 and Cardiff University, Rumney BL and Canton Libs Z all won by the same scoreline against No Balls, Canton Libs B and Trec B respectively. Improving Gower thrashed Savoy 4-1 to move further up the table.
