Rumney BL caused the biggest shock in the Thursday League last week by beating Canton Libs Z 5-0 in Canton. Back to the top of the table now and it was business as usual for Canton Libs A who beat Senghneydd 4-1. The New Park have etched into that deficit by winning 5-0 at home to Canton Libs B. SWS remain their slim hopes of getting runners up slot by winning 3-2 against a vastly improving young Trec C side who move off the bottom of the table by winning more matches. Taffs Well beat Cardiff University in a highly entertaining match which went to a decider. Roath Labour beat No Balls 5-0 to be in a 5 team race for 3rd. The Gower continue their good run of form by beating now basement side Cathays Cons 4-1 to keep a watch over the teams immediately above them. Finally Savoy beat Trec B 3-2 to put pressure on Canton Libs Z in 8th place.
