Kevin Brown hit the highest Tuesday League break of the season with a 79 as County consolidated third place thanks to a whitewash of Taff’s Well, who are a far better side than scorelines suggests.
Spencer Symmons also made a fine break of 55 in Mack’s win over University, but Fairwater have now asked the league’s resident Albert Sewell to find out if they have the longest unbeaten run from the start of a league season ever. Well done to Fairwater, who won by (can you guess?) three frames to two against the much improved Penarth Road side.
The Legion are the next, I think, to have a crack at the league leaders, and are in fourth place for now, thanks to a win by the odd frame against perennial cup champions Trecenydd.
Terry Garland and Ryan Rowlands managed to avoid playing each other to maintain their impressive 100% records after 7 matches, although Mark Bennett and Travis Furnish also maintained their spotless records after 6 and 4 matches respectively.
