The Tuesday League table after one third of the season has tilted back towards Fairwater, who stand five clear now of the two teams that share second place. Well done to Taff’s Well, who claimed their first win of the season against Penarth Legion, while Rileys are probably the form side, having dispatched County 4-1 away from home in a fine display of potting.
Ryan Rowlands played last for Penarth Road, protecting his unbeaten record to the one third point of the season, and Mark Bennett stands close after another win for Savoy in the opening frame. Ryan also had a break of 50-odd, but the league table proves that there are enough good sides that Fairwater could yet easily be chased down if the chase is organised well enough, and sides stop taking points off each other.
