The first matches of the second half of the season in Division One saw the top 2 teams getting beaten by 3 – 2 scorelines. Taffs Well lost to a resurgent Cathays Cons, whilst Senghenydd lost to an in form Canton Libs Z. The gap at the top remains the same. However the chasing pack namely Canton Libs Z and more notably Kiss Shot have made some ground on the top 2. Kiss Shot capitalised with an impressive 5 – 0 win over Wellington Boot. Rumney BL continue their run with a good solid 4 – 1 win over Wellington Rileys. Finally Trec Wanderers shocked Canton Libs B 3 – 2 to condem the team to yet another 3 – 2 defeat.
