Another impressive performance from the Mackintosh sent them to the top of the table after a 5-0 victory over Cathays Cons, while their rivals all recorded 3-2 wins. The highlight of the Mack’s victory was a 83 clearance from Alan Hurley, his second outstanding break in only his second frame of the season.

Canton Libs A are in second place after a 3-2 victory against local rivals Canton Libs Z, with Kishan Hirani making another notable break (his fifth in seven matches.)

They are followed by Taff’s Well B who defeated Park Club and Savoy A who won a close match at Taff’s Well A.

Rumney British Legion regain fifth place after a 4-1 win over South Wales Snooker, while Cuesaders defeated Savoy B by the same scoreline, and Senghenydd move up the table after winning 3-2 against Canton Libs B.
