Senghenydd remain one of the form teams in the league as they registered their sixth league win in a row, (and their seventh in all formats) after winning 3-2 against Canton Libs Z to continue their chase of fourth place Savoy A. The Barry side won their local derby 4-1 against Savoy B to continue to try to make up for their points deduction earlier in the season.
At the top of the table, the Mackintosh continue to look like the team to beat after they won 4-1 at home to Rumney British Legion, whilst Canton Libs A consolidate their position in second with a very good 4-1 victory over in-form Cuesaders, with Kishan Hirani once again registering an excellent break with a 97 clearance, his ninth 40+ break of the season so far. He is also now out on his own at the top of the individual rankings after Rhys Carpenter suffered his first defeat of the season in Taff’s Well B’s 3-2 win at Cathays Cons.
Canton Libs B continue their top six position with a 5-0 whitewash over South Wales Snooker, whilst Taff’s Well A won 4-1 against Park Club.
