Savoy’s second defeat in as many games has added some drama to the end of season run-in in the Premier League after they lost 4-1 to Taff’s Well A, with Suraj Singh and Cardiff Open finalist Steffan Davies winning again, but the highlight of the week was a 119 break by Ryan Rowlands to take first place in the breaks board. The Barry side’s lead has been cut from nine points two weeks ago to just four after Taff’s Well B kept up the pressure with a 3-2 win at Canton Libs A.

Senghenydd kept up their chase for runners-up spot with a 3-2 win at Park Club, whilst Canton Libs Z won 3-2 at Rumney British Legion.

Cathays Cons look like they’ve sown up the Division One title after an impressive 4-1 win at Cuesaders, whilst title rivals Canton Libs B lost 3-2 to Mackintosh.
