Congratulations go to Savoy after they sealed the CDSA 2017-18 Premier League after a dominant 5-0 victory over Rumney British Legion.

They win the title with a game to spare after their closest challengers Taff’s Well B lost 3-2 at home to Cuesaders leaving a 8 point gap between the two.

The Barry side have been in outstanding form this season winning 19 league games in a row before their recent slip-up, but look like breaking through the 100 point barrier and are worthy champions. Well done to captain Colin Lane and his team!

The race for the Division One title is going all the way though after Cathays Cons lost 3-2 to in-form Taff’s Well A, which left the Canton derby as a decider to keep up the chase. It was won decisively by Canton Libs Z after they beat Canton Libs B 4-1 to move into second place, albeit 5 points behind Cathays.

Elsewhere, Senghenydd kept up their chase of Taff’s Well B for second place after a 3-2 win over Canton Libs A who are now not safe from relegation to Division One after Taff’s Well A closed the gap on them at the bottom of the Premier League to five points, whilst Park Club ended their season on a high after they beat Mackies Lost Boys 4-1.
