Revised fixtures for Division One have been issued and can be found here. The spreadsheet available on that page has also been updated so please ensure you download the most recent version.
This had to be done as there were issues with clashing home fixtures for Trecenydd. As a result of this the fixture list looks rather lopsided as in that some teams will have played the majority of their home or away fixtures in the first half of the season, however 7 of the 10 teams will play exactly 9 home and 9 away fixtures. The 3 teams that dont play this and we do apologize for this are as follows – Trec Wanderers have kindly agreed to play 2 extra away fixtures to avoid these clashes, this means that two teams will now play an extra home match, these teams are Senghenydd and Cathays Cons.
Some further information as well, due to the fact that Trec Wanderers consist of children, they will not be buying drinks for the opposition, however they will be providing food as normal.
For the 2 teams in question that have to play an extra home game, it is up to the discretion of that team to provide food and or drink for the opposition. Dan’s view is that it should really be the team that has given up home advantage i.e. Trec Wanderers that should do this, but I think that in order to be as fair as possible that both teams should meet halfway and contribute 50/50.
