The big match this week in Division One between the two early leaders Kiss Shot and Senghenydd ended in an emphatic 5 – 0 win for the favourites over the newcomers Kiss Shot. Rumney BL move into 2nd place in the league after a very hard fought 3-2 win over Canton Libs B, the Libs went 2-0 up after wins from John Collins and Dan Peacey but all was in vain as Rumney BL were victorious. Taffs Well move into 3rd place with a 5-0 win over Trec Wanderers. Cathays Cons held their nerve against Wellington Boot to move into 4th place after another deciding frame thriller. Canton Libs Z managed to beat Wellington Rileys in a 3rd final frame decider of the night, which included the first 30 plus break of the season in that deciding frame by David Thain. The first candidates to drop out of the league are Wellington Rileys as captain Chris Crookes has resigned and no one knows who the new captain is as they are the only team not have recorded their player records this week.
