CDSA 2013-14 Season Week 10

The season resumed with only the Division One in action this week. Park Club started 2014 lying in 2nd place, 6 points behind league leaders the Cuesaders. It turned out not to be the ideal start to the title challenge as they were whitewashed 5-0 away at Taffs Well and with Cuesaders winning 4-1 away at Senghenydd, the advantage is firmly in the Llandaff team’s hands as they extend their lead to a massive 11 points. The Trec Bandits are still looking for their first win of the season after losing to Canton Libs B 4-1. The kids’ recent frames have generally gone down to the last couple of balls and captain Andrew Bridle has been impressed by his player’s improvement over the past few months so a win might not be too far away. The final result of the night saw Cathays Cons beat Rumney British Legion 3-2.
The Premier Division teams will be back next week in the rescheduled round of fixtures following Canton Libs A’s dropping out. Fixtures can be found here.
