Fairwater moved back to the top of the Tuesday League, by virtue of games won as results swung back their way on Tuesday night. County Cons kept themselves in the chase by hammering last week’s leaders Penarth BL 4-1 and Fairwater beat Trecenydd 3-2, although would have hoped for more from 2-0 up. 3 half century breaks this week, from Rhys Carpenter, Sam Thomas and Kishan Hirani. Carpenter’s 50 kept him up with his rankings rivals Neil Tomkins and Mark Bennett who also won.
