Congratulations to Mark Bennett & Lee Greening and Kishan Hirani and Steve Flanagan who this week were crowned Cardiff Open Pairs and Cardiff Handicap Pairs champions respectively.

Bennett & Greening beat the Taffs Well pairing of Kevin Jones and Steve Rees 3-2 in a close final on Tuesday. Hirani and Flanagan won more comfortably last night with a 3-0 win over Vince Haines and Fraser Ingram. Haines and Ingram had 28 points start but needed snookers in the first two frames. Kishan hit a 32 and 53 in those frames and also has the high break prize with his 122 in an earlier round. The final frame went to the black with Fraser unluckily going in off from a safety attempt.
