County Cons and Cathays Cons reach the Handicap Cup final

The first CDSL Interdivisional Handicap Cup final will be between County Cons from the Premier League and Cathays Cons of Division One after two exciting semi-finals last night.

County Cons beat South Wales Snooker 3-2 after a final frame decider between Rob Hayes and Liam O’Brien, after County found themselves 2-1 down following a 70 minute frame between James Llewellyn and Simon Trottman.

The other semi was even closer with Cathays Cons beating Division One champions (and treble-chasing) Canton Libs Z on the pink in the decider as rankings champion Dave Standage edged past Bill Bainton.

The final will be a fortnight at Taffs Well (April 11th), as it’s the last game of the season please go along and support the teams
