CARDIFF & DISTRICT SNOOKER ASSOCIATION

Thank you to those teams that attended the AGM & Presentatipn Night. It was an excellent evening with lots of strong debate and discussion to ensure the league continues to improve.

Eleven teams sent at least one representative, but we were disappointed not to have attendees from Cuesaders and Park Club.

Our privacy policy was agreed and thanks given to Glyn Jones for drafting it.

The following proposals were submitted, and the vote is attached to each –

Venues for Competition Finals

To decide the venue for each final before the season starts. PASSED BY 8 VOTES TO 3.

Professional Players

To allow professional players to compete in CDSA competitions if they were an existing player in the league. PASSED 8-2

To remove 50-point penalty on professional players if they were an existing player – REJECTED 11-0

Cup Format

Knockout with two legs to replace aggregate points system PASSED 10-1

League Fees

Increase in league fees and remove competition fees REJECTED 6-5

Anniversary Dates

To have a bye week at Easter REJECTED 11-0
