The 2026-27 season will commence on Thursday 3rd September with the CDSA Shootout at Mackintosh Sports Club, where Jacob Boyle will be aiming for a hat-trick as he defends his title against 23 challengers in an expanded line-up.
The league season will begin the week after on Thursday 10th September with two new sides joining the CDSA as we welcome Market Street A from Barry and the Macky Cuesaders, with Roath Cons moving venue to Cathays Sports and Social Club.
The opening round of fixtures sees last year’s top two sides face difficult matches with champions Caerphilly A travelling to Mackintosh Snooker, whilst runners-up Fairwater Cons will line up against new boys Macky Cuesaders –

The Malcolm Keenor Trophy will consist of two groups of six teams, with the top two in each group qualifying for the semi-finals. The teams finishing in 3rd and 4th place in each group will contest the CDSA Plate semi-finals, and 5th and 6th place will contest the inaugural CDSA Bowl semi-finals.
