The final of the Cardiff Open will be an all-Penarth Legion affair as Neil Tomkins last night reached his 4th final in 5 years with a 3-1 semi-final win over 2009 champion Spencer Symmons. The final will be played in the next two weeks and Neil, chasing his 4th title, will be up against team-mate and current Newport champion Alun Squire.

The finalists for the Open Pairs are also confirmed after Kevin Jones and Steve Rees (Taffs Well) and Mark Bennett and Lee Greening (Savoy) won their semi-finals against, respectively, Tomkins and Glyn Jones and Kishan Hirani and Steve Flanagan.
