After the withdrawal of Cuesports and the removal of their results left a big gap at the top, both Canton Libs A and Savoy took advantage of a bye week for leaders Taff’s Well B. Canton won 5-0 against their local rivals Canton Libs Z, whilst Savoy overcame South Wales Snooker by 4 frames to 1, the highlight being a 81 break by Mark Bennett. However, the other side in the top four Cuesaders suffered a 3-2 defeat at Rumney British Legion, meaning the Llandaff outfit lose ground on the leaders.
The middle of the table has a congested look, as all four teams played each other this week. Cathays Cons beat Park Cons 3-2, and Senghenydd won against Taff’s Well A by the same scoreline.
