The semi line-up for the Handicap Cup has been finalised after an intriguing night’s play. The shock of the night came at County, where the home team were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by the Mack, who sealed their win thanks to a 60 break by Jason Hewitt. Senghenydd continued their great form by beating Canyon Libs Z 3-1, and Trecenydd Bandits made it a Valleys double as they won by the same scoreline against Park Club. The closest game of the night came at Canton Libs, as the champions were pushed all the way by 2013 winners Cathays Cons. The underdogs raced into a 2-0 lead, but Canton showed why they are heading this year’s table by winning the next three to seal the victory and sneak into the semi-finals.
