Spencer Symmons and John Moore are the Cardiff Open Pairs winners after a 3-2 win over Savoy A’s Ryan Rowlands and Tom Davie. The Mackintosh pair took the lead after winning the opening frame, before Rowlands and Davie levelled things up in the second.

A decisive break from Moore claimed the third frame, before the Barry pair hit back to tie the match at 2-2.

The deciding frame was a tense affair before a superb 30 break by Moore was enough for the Mackintosh veterans to clinch the match and deny Rowlands & Davie a second title after their Cardiff Handicap Pairs win.
