The new CDSA season kicked off this week with all seven matches surprisingly resulting in an away win. There were good starts for the champions Savoy who won 4-1 at Cuesaders, and runners-up Taff’s Well B who matched that result at Park Club.

Division One champions Cathays Cons made a solid start to the season with a 4-1 win at Rumney BL, whilst Fairwater beat Taff’s Well A by the same scoreline.

There were 3-2 wins for Senghenydd and Mackintosh against Trecenydd Snooker and Canton Libs B respectively, whilst Canton Libs Z also registered a 3-2 victory over Mackies Lost Boys.
