Mackintosh surged up the table this week with an impressive 5-0 win over in-form Cathays Cons who had gone into the game on the back of five consecutive victories. The Roath side have Jason Hewitt and Alan Hurley at the top of their order who are both near the summit of the individual rankings.

Taff’s Well B defeated Canton Libs Z 4-1 to move above Cathays into third place, but champions Savoy are still clear at the top following a 4-1 win against Fairwater Cons, with Sam Thomas producing the performance of the week with a 57 and 40 break.

Senghenydd have ended their run of six defeats in a row with a 3-2 win over improving Mackies Lost Boys, whilst Canton Libs B consolidated their position at the top of Division One with a 3-2 win at home to Cuesaders, whilst Trecenydd Snooker beat Taff’s Well A by the same scoreline.
