CARDIFF & DISTRICT SNOOKER ASSOCIATION

The first finalists of this year’s singles and doubles are now known – Steve Rees and Kevin Jones of Taff’s Well will play Tom Cross and Kevin Brown of County Cons in the final of the Open Pairs. Cross and Brown are looking for their second title each (although their first was achieved with different partners) and Rees and Jones their first title (as far as I know).

Kevin Jones is looking for a hat-trick of titles this season – he’s already beaten Kevin Brown to reach the semi-finals of the Handicap and will face Neil Tomkins in the quarters of the Open. Kishan Hirani is also still on track for both singles.
