Taff’s Well B back to winning ways

Taff’s Well B won their local derby after overcoming Taff’s Well A 4-1 to extend their lead at the top of the table. The game saw four of the leading players in the individual rankings face each other, with Kevin Jones defeating Kevin Brown, and Tom Cross beating Steve Rees leaving the Taff’s Well B captain in the lead.

Savoy kept up the chase at the top by beating fellow title challengers Cuesaders 3-2, whilst Canton Libs A ensured they stay in touch with a win against Senghenydd by the same scoreline.

Cathays Cons move back into 5th place after a convincing 4-1 win against Rumney British Legion, and Canton Libs Z sealed the only whitewash of the night beating South Wales Snooker 5-0.

There was another win for the in-form Rory Wigmore, as Canton Libs B beat Park Club 3-2 to seal a good night for the Canton clubs.
